Communities Lead Communities Thrive Managing Director Marco Dorado

Marco Dorado, Managing Director

Marco Dorado brings over a decade of experience in strategic leadership to the Communities Lead Communities Thrive (CLCT) Coalition as its inaugural Managing Director.

Prior to joining CLCT, Marco served as Deputy Policy Director at the National Redistricting Foundation and Affiliates (NRF), leading the organization’s redistricting reform policy portfolio. Before his tenure at the NRF, he worked in economic development with the National Development Council, managing Washington State’s support for small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also led the Urban Leader Fellowship’s 2018 Denver cohort and worked with the Latino Leadership Institute to advance Latinos in leadership across Colorado.

Marco is an alumnus of the University of Colorado Boulder where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington where he obtained a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Social Policy.

Ayah Al-Durazi, Coalition Coordinator

Ayah Al-Durazi is the Coalition Coordinator for the Communities Lead Communities Thrive (CLCT) Coalition. Ayah brings extensive experience in campaign management, community organizing, and policy advocacy, having previously served as the Campaign Manager for the Home is Here coalition and as a Bilingual Community Organizer at Together Colorado, where they worked on immigration, criminal justice, and housing issues.

Ayah’s background also includes leading advocacy efforts for immigrant families at Al Éxito and participating in leadership programs like Faith in Action’s Mujerista Program and the Immigration Leadership Hub. 

With a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Northern Iowa, Ayah is committed to advancing social justice through strategic policy work, coalition-building, and empowering historically excluded communities.
